Fajarasia.co – The Formula-E racing car, as well as supporting facilities for phase 2, have arrived at the Cargo Terminal of Sorkaro Hatta Airport, Tuesday (24/5/2022).
“This early morning rush was triggered by the arrival of logistics and supporting facilities for the Formula-E car racing phase 2,” said Corporate Communication Manager JAS Airport Services Ageng Wibowo to reporters.
It was explained, as many as 39 pallets weighing a total of 90 tons, arrived on Silk Airlines planes. The plane with flight number B747-800 came from Berlin, Germany.
“The car and equipment were previously used in the last series of Formula-E Berlin. The process of unloading the goods was closely guarded by the police and immediately sent to Ancol, Jakarta,” he explained.
As previously reported, the cargo containing 22 cars and supporting facilities for the first phase of the Formula-E car racing arrived at Soekarno Hatta Airport by Qatari plane on Sunday (22/May/2022).
Formula-E will be held in the Ancol area, North Jakarta.
Dozens of electric cars were previously used in the last Formula E series which was held in Berlin, on May 14-15.
Then, in April 2022, Formula-E is held in Rome, Italy.***
