Fajarasia.co – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, and TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa were the names proposed by the Nasdem Party to become presidential candidates (candidates) based on the results of the 2022 Nasdem Party National Working Meeting (Rakernas).
Chairman of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh, received the list of three names from the Coordinator of the Nasdem Election Winning Body, Prananda Surya Paloh at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Friday (17/6/2022).
“After going through a full dynamic National Working Meeting last night, SC has prepared three names. Those three names certainly fit the criteria desired by the chairman, and certainly meet the requirements of the Nasdem Party. So with the permission of this noble National Working Meeting and with the permission of God Almighty, my recommendation for the National Working Meeting represents the members SC, I submit it to the chairman,” said Prananda at the JCC, Senayan.
Surya Paloh admitted that he felt extraordinary enthusiasm and enthusiasm in this Nasdem National Working Meeting. He believes that the Steering Committee of the National Working Meeting of Nasdem has seriously considered the names of the three presidential candidates before handing over the results to him.
“Recommendations addressed to me, with the mandate of this National Working Meeting decided to determine the recommendations for the names of the presidential candidates for the Republic of Indonesia which will be carried by the Nasdem Party in the 2024 Election that will come from three names. These three names are your choice,” said Surya Paloh.
“I will read out the recommendations for presidential candidates in the 2024 election. First, Anies Rasyid Baswedan, second Muhammad Andika Perkasa, third Ganjar Pranowo,” he continued.
When reading the recommendation, Nasdem cadres applauded loudly.
After that, Surya Paloh will narrow down the three names to just one name to be carried as the definitive presidential candidate. One name is predicted to be determined by Paloh at the end of the year.
Previously, the chairman of the Nasdem Party DPP, Willy Aditya, revealed the characteristics of the presidential candidate that his party had pocketed.
Willy said that there are three names of presidential candidates who will be proposed to the General Chair of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh. “The criteria must be the great ones, the good ones, the handsome ones, the pretty ones, the extraordinary ones,” Willy told reporters at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Friday (17/6/2022).
Willy said the names of the three presidential candidates were gifts from the Nasdem Party for the Indonesian people. According to him, these three names are congruent and in accordance with the aspirations that develop in the community. “Nasdem this time does not carry internal candidates,” he said.****
