Syafii died at the PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital, at 10.15 WIB.
General Chairperson of PP Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir expressed his condolences for the death of Syafii Maarif.
“Hopefully he is husnul khatimah, accepted for his deeds of worship, forgiven for his mistakes, opened in his grave, and placed in jannatun na’im. Please forgive his mistakes and prayers from all of them,” said Nasir in his written statement, Friday (27/5/2022). ).
“His funeral and other information will follow,” he added.
