Fajarasia.co – Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, attended a ceremony to commemorate the Pancasila Sanctity Day at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta, Thursday (1/10/2022). Just like the previous year, Puan was asked to read the pledge which was agreed by the ceremony participants.
“In the presence of God Almighty, in commemorating the Sanctity of Pancasila Day, we are determined to continue to maintain and practice the values of Pancasila as a source of strength to unite together to fight for, uphold truth and justice for the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Puan loudly.
After reading it, Puan, who was wearing a red kebaya, signed the Pledge.
The commemoration of the Pancasila Sanctity Day was led by President Joko Widodo. In addition to the President and Chair of the DPR, the ceremony was attended by the Vice President, Chair of the MPR, Chair of the DPD, and cabinet ranks.

PLEDGE
With the Grace of God Almighty, we who carry out this ceremony are fully aware: that since the proclamation of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 1945, in fact there have been many harassments, both domestically and abroad, against the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia;
that the undermining was made possible due to the carelessness and lack of vigilance of the Indonesian people towards activities that seek to overthrow Pancasila as the State Ideology;
that with the spirit of togetherness based on the noble values of the Pancasila ideology, the Indonesian nation can still strengthen the establishment of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia;
So before God Almighty, in commemorating the Pancasila Sanctity Day, we are determined to continue to maintain and practice the values of Pancasila as a source of strength to rally together to fight for, uphold truth and justice for the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.****
