Fajarasia.co – Seduced by a promising job vacancy advertisement, a woman is suspected of being a victim of the crime of trafficking in persons (TPPO) from Sukabumi to Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands.

The victim with the initials SR (25), a resident of Nyalindung Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, started when he saw a job vacancy advertisement on social media about two weeks ago. The job vacancies lure SR to work in a cafe and restaurant.

“I tried to call the phone number listed in the advertisement and was picked up by travel on June 15, 2022 to my house. After that, I was transferred to the airport (Soekarno-Hatta) and flew (to Pangkalpinang) and arrived on Thursday (16/6/ 2022) ago,” he said, Saturday (6/18/2022).

SR further said that the only people who went to work to Pangkalpinang were himself and one Bandung resident. By being escorted by a travel driver, when he arrived at the airport he found it easy to depart and suspected that there was a syndicate in this TIP case.

Arriving in Pangkalpinang, SR was surprised because it was not placed in the cafe or restaurant as promised when called and did not match the advertisement. SR admitted that he actually entered a night entertainment environment such as a karaoke place.

“Last night, we were also told to open BO (booking out or in the world of prostitution bringing women’s bookings out). Some people saw them. Some from the street, we sat on chairs. So we had to offer ourselves. I was afraid to go home,” SR pleaded. . ****
