KPK Names New Suspect of Tulungagung Budget Bribery

Fajarasiaco – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named a new suspect in the alleged bribery case for the allocation of the 2014-2018 financial aid budget for the East Java province for Tulungagung Regency.

However, the KPK is reluctant to detail and announce the identity of the new suspect in this case.

“KPK has named a new suspect related to the alleged bribery development of the allocation of the 2014-2018 financial aid budget for the East Java province for the Tulungagung Regency,” said Acting KPK Spokesperson Ali Fikri, Tuesday (28/6/2022).

Ali said that currently the investigation team is still collecting additional evidence related to the alleged bribery in Tulungagung Regency, East Java in 2014-2018.

“KPK is carrying out an investigation in the form of collecting evidence related to the alleged bribery in the allocation of the East Java provincial financial aid budget for the 2014-2018 period for Tulungagung Regency,” Ali explained.

In this investigation, the KPK had previously named several parties as suspects. However, the anti-corruption agency has not officially announced who the suspect is and the chronology of this case.

“However, later when the attempt is made for forced arrest or detention, the KPK will announce which parties are designated as suspects, including the construction of the case and the criminal article suspected,” he explained.

The Corruption Eradication Commission hopes that if they have various information related to this case, they can immediately convey it to the KPK Investigative Team so that we will immediately investigate the information in question.*****
