Fajarasia.co –Hundreds of students from Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama University (UMNU) Kebumen expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Chair of the DPR, Puan Maharani and the Chair of the PDI-P faction, Utut Adianto.
The gratitude was conveyed because the hundreds of students felt they had been helped to get college scholarships through the Affirmation Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) program. In total there were 146 students of UMNU Kebumen who delivered video messages to Puan and Utut for the facilitation of the KIP affirmation scholarship to study at UMNU Kebumen. The gratitude was conveyed on the sidelines of the gathering held by the DPC PDI-P Kebumen.
The event, which took place at the Rowo Gowok Piring Gading restaurant, was attended by a number of PDI-P Kebumen DPC functionaries. From the elements of UMNU Kebumen, the rector and vice chancellor were present, as well as representatives of KIP scholarship recipients and student guardians.
The Chancellor of UMNU Kebumen Imam Satibi in his speech again expressed his gratitude to the PDI-P who had helped allocate the affirmative KIP to UMNU. “KIP scholarships really provide benefits not only for students who can’t afford it, but also provide blessings for the Kebumen area which has the poorest status in Central Java,” said Imam.
Imam Satibi also hopes that Puan Maharani and PDI-P can continue their struggle to continue to help young people in Indonesia to achieve the highest possible education. “This is really a high concern for regional empowerment and is a strategic solution going forward,” said Imam. ****
