Fajarasia.co– Indonesian Vice President Ma’ruf Amin emphasized the importance of the community’s determination to contribute to realizing the people’s independence and economic progress, in addition to the government’s efforts to build an empowering ecosystem.
This was conveyed by the Vice President while attending the Grand Gathering of the Annawawi Tanara Islamic Boarding School Alumni Association (INSANI PENATA), at the Penata Islamic Boarding School, Serang, Banten, Saturday.
“If his azam (will) is strong, the way will be opened. I think that’s the guide. So, no one, from ourselves,” said the Vice President in a press release in Jakarta, which was received by the Editors on Sunday (29/9/2022).
The vice president said that apart from determination, relentless efforts were also needed for God’s help to come.
The vice president also asked INSANI PENATA to jointly move the people’s economy intelligently and thoroughly through joint planning and collaboration.
He also underlined the importance of maintaining the relationship between the extended family of the pesantren and the alumni of the pesantren, for the sake of progress and the common good.
“The kiai-santri relationship is not limited to just teaching, but also guides, gives direction, guides, and even continues to be together, not only in this world, but also in the hereafter,” the Vice President reminded.
The head of INSANI PENATA, Ustadz Mariyanto, revealed that the existence of alumni who are compact and still maintain the values of politeness and good manners are expected to be able to make a real contribution to the PENATA Islamic Boarding School and the wider community.
“Hopefully this gathering can be a means for all of us to gather and exchange ideas, as well as make a positive contribution to the progress of the Annawawi Tanara Islamic Boarding School,” said Mariyanto. ****
