Umrah Worship, Ladies Pray for the Welfare of the Indonesian People

Fajarasia.co – Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, carries out the Umrah Service. He also prayed that all Indonesian people would be given prosperity.

Puan performed the Umrah Service in Mecca on Tuesday (31/5/2022) after visiting the International Museum of the History of the Prophet Muhammad in Medina Al-Munawwarah the day before.

Puan travels from Medina to Mecca using the Haramain Express fast train.

The high-speed train cuts the travel time for Umrah pilgrims on the Medina-Makkah journey and vice versa which usually takes about five to 6 hours. Mecca Train Station is 4 kilometers from the Grand Mosque.

“Mrs. Puan wants to try to take the Medina-Makka fast train which only takes 2 hours and 20 minutes,” said Deputy Secretary General of the MUI, Habib Dr. Ali Bahar who became the Umrah Advisor, Wednesday (1/6/2022).

According to Habib Ali Bahar, Puan performed tawaf around the Kaaba on Tuesday afternoon local time.

“Umrah is performed ba’da Asr so that at the same time he can perform the Maghrib and Isha prayers in a position parallel to the corner of the Black Stone,” he said.

On this occasion, Puan was said to pray for the Indonesian people to avoid all kinds of dangers. The first woman who served as Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives also prayed for the unity and integrity of the nation.

“Mrs. Puan in particular also prays for the Indonesian people to always be given prosperity, health and always in the protection of Allah SWT,” said Habib Ali Bahar.
