Fajarasia.co – Former TNI Commander Marshal TNI (Ret.) Hadi Tjahjanto officially serves as Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (Minister of ATR/Head of BPN), after being sworn in by President Joko Widodo at the State Palace, Wednesday (15/6). /2022).
Prior to his inauguration, Hadi was the 20th TNI Commander. He served as TNI Commander for three years, starting from December 8, 2017, until November 17, 2021.
Hadi graduated from the Air Force Academy (AAU), after graduating, Hadi was inaugurated as an Indonesian Air Force officer with the rank of First Lieutenant by President Suharto on September 20, 1986.
He started his career in the 4th Air Squadron based at Abdul Rachman Saleh Air Base, Malang, East Java. Hadi’s task at that time was to pilot the Cassa transport plane.
In 1993, his career rose to become Head of the Training Section of the 4th Air Squadron at the Abdul Rachman Saleh Air Base. After that, in 1996 the father of two sons was no longer in charge of light transport aircraft. He changed to lead the heavy transport aircraft as Commander of Flight Ops “A” Flightlat Air Squadron 32 Air Wing 2 Abdul Rachman Saleh Air Base.
After that, Hadi was trusted to lead the education of pilots as Flight Commander of the 101st Education Squadron at Adi Soemarmo Air Base in 1997.
Then in 1998, Hadi became Head of the Division of Dispersal Services at the Adi Soemarmo Air Base. In the same year, he served as Commander of Battalion III Menchandra TNI Academy. A year later, in 1999, he became a Flight Instructor at Adi Sucipto Air Base.
Entering 2000, he was trusted to be the Head of the Security and Defense Section of the Adi Sucipto Air Base Operations Service.
In the following period, namely 2011-2013, this TNI soldier who was born in 1963 was appointed as the Director of Operations and Training of the Basarnas. Two years later, Hadi served as Head of the Indonesian Air Force’s Aviation Service.
In 2015 he returned to his hometown to carry out his mandate to become the Commander of Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base, Malang. Simultaneously with Hadi’s promotion to the rank of Marshal Young, he was also inaugurated as President Jokowi’s Military Secretary (2015-2016).
In November 2016, Hadi was appointed Inspector General of the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) with the rank of Marshal Madya (Marsdya). Then, on January 18, 2017, Hadi was appointed the Chief of Staff of the Air Force (KSAU) to replace Agus Supriatna who was entering his retirement period. He was promoted to four-star Pati or Marshal.
After stepping down from the TNI Commander, President Jokowi trusted Hadi as Field Commander for the preparation of the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP. For his success in holding the international race, Hadi received an award from the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA).
Evidence of Hadi’s success is watched by 400 million television viewers in more than 200 countries in the world. His cold hands also managed to have an economic impact on the circulation of money of Rp. 697 billion, with an output of Rp. 3.5 trillion in NTB and a national output of Rp. 4.5 trillion.****
