Fajarasia.id – The Surabaya Supporters Foundation (YSS) has extended its appreciation to Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Adies Kadir, for his attention and support toward the Bondho Nekat (Bonek) community.
YSS Chairman Abdullah highlighted that despite his busy schedule as a legislator, Adies took the time to visit the foundation’s headquarters and even shared a meal with members. “His presence showed genuine concern for us,” Abdullah said.
Beyond the visit, Adies also contributed to improving several facilities at the YSS headquarters, including repairing a leaking roof and renovating the prayer room. Abdullah described these efforts as tangible proof of Adies’ commitment to addressing the needs of Bonek supporters.
“Almost all of our aspirations have been fought for. Whatever we hoped for, he tried to fulfill,” Abdullah added.
Strengthening Ties Between Supporters and Lawmakers
With this support, YSS hopes to maintain strong relations between football fans and policymakers, ensuring that the voices of Surabaya’s supporters are well represented.
On behalf of approximately 50,000 Bonek enthusiasts, Abdullah expressed gratitude to Adies Kadir and pledged continued support for his positive initiatives in advancing Indonesia, particularly Surabaya.****
