Medical Device Corruption Suspect Referred to Leona Hospital Kupang

Fajarasia.co – The suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of medical devices (Alkes) at the Kefamenanu Regional General Hospital, North Central Timor Regency (TTU), I Wayan Niarta was finally referred to the Leona Kupang Hospital, Wednesday (25 /05/2022).

I Wayan Niarta is a former Director of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Kefamenanu, TTU Regency. I Wayan was named a suspect by the TTU District Attorney’s Office, but after being named a suspect, I Wayan Niarta was immediately rushed to the Kefamenanu Hospital due to a heart attack.

“I Wayan Niarta (former Director of the Kefamenanu Hospital, has been referred to the Leona Kupang Hospital for medical treatment,” said TTU District Head, Roberth Jimmy Lambila, S. H, M. H through his Head of Intel, Hendrik Tiip, S.H, Thursday (26/05/2022).

Hendrik explained that the corruption suspect was referred by the Kefamenanu Hospital to be treated at the hospital. Leona Kupang, because the medical equipment at the Kefamenanu Hospital is not adequate.

“The suspect was referred to the Leona Kupang Hospital to get better treatment because the equipment at the Kefamenanu Hospital, TTU Regency was not adequate,” said Hendrik.

Previously, the Special Crime Investigation Team (Tipidsus) of the North Central Timor District (TTU) District Attorney, again named three (3) people as suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of medical devices at the Kefamenanu Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Kefamenanu Regency. TTU in 2015.

Three people have been named suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of medical devices (Alkes) at the Kefamenanu Hospital, TTU Regency, including the former Director of the Kefamenanu Hospital, Munawar Lutfi and Didi Darman.(rey)
