The dispute involves two parties, Sutan Harahap and Amir Hamzah Harahap.

The inspection was led by Kejari Paluta’s Head of Intelligence, Erwin Efendi Rangkuti SH, who oversaw the measurement and mapping of boundary coordinates with the BPN team. The prosecutor’s office emphasized that its presence was a proactive step to prevent the conflict from escalating further.

“Today we came to Sihambeng Village under the directive of Kejari Paluta to follow up on public complaints regarding the land dispute and to prevent prolonged conflict among residents,” Erwin explained.

the inspection was attended by the village head, both disputing parties, local community leaders (hatobangon), and residents who gathered to witness the process. Erwin noted that one of the plots already holds a land certificate, and the final clarification will depend on BPN’s official report.

Rudi Efendy Siregar SH MH and Diky Purnomo Siddiq SH, legal representatives of Sutan Harahap, expressed appreciation for the swift response of Kejari Paluta. “We are grateful that the prosecutor’s office listened to our report and immediately came to the field with BPN and Polres Tapsel to verify the situation,” Rudi said.

He added that the presence of law enforcement is expected to accelerate resolution and prevent provocations that could trigger unrest. “We urge parties without direct involvement not to worsen the situation,” he stressed.

Residents of Sihambeng Village welcomed the intervention, describing it as responsive and transparent. The community hopes that the involvement of the prosecutor’s office, police, and BPN will lead to a fair resolution without disadvantaging either party, while maintaining peace and stability in Paluta.***
