Deputy Chairman of the National Leadership Council of Peradi Hasanuddin Nasution, when opening the Peradi Suara Indonesian Advocates Conference (SAI) Semarang City Branch, Saturday, asked advocates to continue to strengthen their abilities and knowledge.
Moreover, according to him, increasing competence is important for advocates who work in the regions.
“Consistency regarding further education is based on local needs,” he said.
Thus, he continued, advocates are expected to be strong at the regional level, so that there is no outside intervention.
“Increasing competence is important because the law is always evolving,” he said.
He hopes that the ability of the advocates will be 10 times greater than other law enforcers.
Meanwhile, the branch meeting this time scheduled the election of the Chairman of Peradi Semarang City for the 2022-2026 period.
In the deliberation, Luhut Sagala was elected as Chairman of Peradi Semarang City for the 2022-2026 period replacing Yosep Parera.
Luhut was elected by acclamation in the deliberations of the branch.
After the election of the Chair of the Undip Semarang Law Faculty Alumni Association, he promised to serve and protect the members of Peradi.
In addition, he has also prepared a capacity building program for advocates so that they can continue to uphold the profession as defenders.****
