Persib holds a training camp in Batam for a week

Fajarasia.co –​​​Persib Bandung plans to hold a training camp in Batam, Riau Islands, for approximately one week starting today Monday (30/5/2022) while scheduling a test match in the series of activities.

Persib coach Robert Alberts, quoted from the club’s official website, Sunday, confirmed that he would program physical improvement for his foster children while in Batam, where Febri Hariyadi et al will receive an exercise program with a higher intensity than the two weeks of training that has been undertaken in Bandung.

“We will start doing higher intensity in Batam. Later we will do training for a week and there is one confirmed match to be held,” said the Dutch coach.

A Persib test match in Batam against Tanjong Pagar United is scheduled to take place on 5 June.

Robert thinks the match will be good for his team, which is currently undergoing a preparation period.

“That will be the next step for us, because they are ready and they are having a competitive season. This is a good opportunity for us,” he said.

The Blue Prince squad, nicknamed Persib, is scheduled to leave for Batam today, Monday, May 30, 2022.

So far, the club’s players, also nicknamed Maung Bandung, have had two weeks of training sessions and have shown improvement.
