Fajarasia.co – Viral on social media, a member of the traffic police (Polantas) ticketed a young man at a motorcycle dealer on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Tanjungkarang Pusat, Bandar Lampung. The video was uploaded for the first time on the TikTok account @fendimobile75, on Thursday (23/6/2022).
In the video circulating, the young man argued that his motorbike had just come out of the dealership.
However, the police from the Bandar Lampung Satlantas Polresta still ticketed the young man because the motorcycle he was riding was not equipped with mirrors and used a Brong exhaust.
Responding to the video circulating, the Head of Traffic and Traffic Police of Bandar Lampung, AKP M Rohmawan, said the video was not true and did not correspond to the actual incident. Because, the video circulating is only a piece. AKP M Rohmawan explained that the incident began when members of the Bandarlampung Satlantas Polresta were on patrol and saw the driver wearing a Brong exhaust and without mirrors.
“However, when he was stopped, the driver went to a motorcycle dealer. The Satlantas member then explained to the driver, related to the mistakes and traffic violations he had committed. However, the fellow driver recorded the incident and acted uncooperatively when he was investigated,” he said, Friday (6/24/2022).
With this incident, the Bandar Lampung Police Traffic Unit felt very disadvantaged. After going viral, the young man was immediately called and examined by the Propam Section of the Bandar Lampung Police, to provide clarification. After that, the vehicle was immediately secured to the Mako Satlantas Polresta Bandar Lampung.
On this occasion, his party also appealed to the public and motorists not to use racing exhausts that cause noise and disturb the comfort of the community. *****
