Fajarasia.co – The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, asked the government to make a contingency plan (backup plan) to overcome the threat of the pertalite crisis that has occurred in a number of regions.
The APBN subsidy for fuel is also very large, namely Rp. 502 Q. This is very large and makes the burden on the state budget quite heavy. Member of Commission VII DPR PDI-P faction Nasyirul Falah Amru (Gus Falah) fully supports Puan’s statement.
“Mbak Puan has said that the contingency plan, which must be planned in such a way, must be implemented. Otherwise, the state’s burden of subsidized fuel will swell. We can see that in other areas, the scarcity of this mineral is also getting bigger. Once again, what the state must do is immediately issue a regulation to limit the purchase of subsidized fuel,” said Gus Falah to reporters, (18/8/22).
This East Java X electoral district legislator reminded the government that the regulations issued were right on target. Do not let those who can actually enjoy pertalite.
“Don’t be off target. Luxury cars buy pertalite, large CC buy pertalite, we have to think about this together. And I ask the state to immediately respond to making appropriate and pro-people regulations,” said Gus Falah.
“Those who can buy, for example, mass transportation public vehicles, or two-wheeled vehicles can buy them,” said the Secretary General of the PDI-P DPP Bamusi.
Previously, Puan stated that the state should not allow the lower middle class to be forced to spend more due to the difficulty of obtaining fuel.
“Obviously, this will burden small communities, especially those whose livelihoods are very dependent on Pertalite fuel. Extra ordinary steps need to be taken to overcome the Pertalite crisis,” said Puan in her statement, last August 11.*****
