Tri Risma prepares training for beneficiaries on business development in Kalutara

Fajarasia.id – Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemencesos) has authorized to provide training to beneficiaries who want to develop their business in Tarakan, North Kalimantan. One of them handles the enormous fishing potential of the state that directly borders Malaysia.

This was announced yesterday by Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini during the distribution of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) to beneficiaries in Tarakan city, North Kalimantan on Wednesday (25 January 2023).

Risma believes that processing seafood for added value will create new jobs. This activity extends the economic chain.

He emphasized that state aid is increasingly impacting communities near beneficiaries.

“Because the processed fish is sold in the form of finished feed, the links in the chain go from fishermen to traders, or from fishermen to processors, and from new processors to buyers. , it means people will have to grapple with longer economic cycles,” he said.

Earlier, Minister of Social Affairs Risma encouraged the Preferred Families (KPM) in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan to not only receive welfare but also become independent entrepreneurs. To make KPM more economically resilient through the Office of Social Affairs’ Archipelago Economic Hero Program (PENA).

Risma believes that North Kalimantan has great potential for exploitable natural resources such as aquatic products. He wants KPM to use this opportunity to process marine products into high-quality products.
