In his remarks, Harahap expressed pride in the enthusiasm of young students who chose to join the humanitarian movement early on. He emphasized that PMR is not merely an extracurricular activity but a platform to shape caring, healthy, and socially responsible character.

“I am proud and impressed. At such a young age, you have chosen the humanitarian path. Our hope is that PMR members continue to develop skills, positive attitudes, and the spirit of Tri Bakti PMR: cheerful, intelligent, and friendly,” Harahap said on Sunday (16/11/2025).

He further highlighted PMI Paluta’s readiness to host the Jumpa Bakti Gembira (Jumbara) PMR for the Tabagsel and Labuhan Batu regions in 2026. “Through Jumbara, we can broaden the humanitarian spirit while introducing Paluta as a hub for Red Cross activities,” he added.

Meanwhile, Committee Chair Seri Mawarni Harahap explained that the inauguration and training reflect PMI Paluta’s commitment to strengthening the Red Cross movement in schools. She noted that the number of participants has continued to grow each year, showing increasing enthusiasm among students.

During the two-day camp, participants received essential training covering leadership, first aid, sanitation and health, adolescent health, and disaster preparedness. “We want every PMR member not only to be inaugurated but also to be truly prepared as the front line of humanitarian action in schools and communities,” Seri said.

With the spirit of solidarity and compassion demonstrated throughout the camp, PMI Paluta hopes this event will serve as a stepping stone toward a larger and more impactful Jumbara in 2026.****
