Fajarasia.co – The political safari that will be carried out by the Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Puan Maharani to the general chairman of a political party, received a positive response from various parties, one of them from the NasDem Party.
NasDem Party DPP chairman Willy Aditya said his party would gladly accept, if later Puan would stay in touch with NasDem General Chair Surya Paloh.
Moreover, Willy continued, Surya Paloh has a good historical relationship with Puan Maharani’s parents, namely Taufiq Kiemas and Megawati Soekarnoputri.
“If you have a long historical relationship with Mbak Puan, Mr. Surya with Mr. Taufiq Kiemas and Mrs. Mega, of course we welcome them warmly,” Willy told reporters, as quoted on Saturday (30/7/2022).
Willy said that Puan Maharani’s political gathering is a necessity for political parties ahead of the 2024 General Election.
Moreover, of course, political parties need coalition partners to face the five-year democratic party.
“It’s inevitable that anyone needs a friend, yes, it’s good if that happens,” said Willy.
Furthermore, according to Willy, the safari or the friendly relationship between political party elites indirectly provides political education to the public.
That is, to build an understanding in a broad sense, not only for coalitions, the dialogue process can be conveyed to the public.
“If there is dialogue, it means that the process in deciding many things does not only have to be in the presidential election, it can build understanding,” he said.
Previously, Puan Maharani had informed Megawati of her new assignment to take care of exploring the coalition.
According to him, the assessment will begin soon, considering that the PDIP National Working Meeting (Rakernas) has ended.
“Later on, I will also be assigned by the general chairman as Chair of the DPR to be in touch with all the general chairmen. and yesterday we just finished the National Working Meeting. It’s just a matter of time,” said Puan at the Nusantara Fish Grill Festival by PDIP on Saturday (25/6).
Not only a new task, Puan also stated that PDIP will build cooperation with various political parties. Even though he has met the presidential threshold, according to him, PDIP still needs cooperation with other parties in terms of building the nation.****
