Fajarasia.co – Police together with regional officials foiled a planned activity for the alleged Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) community in the Puncak area, Megamendung District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Where, the activity was not given permission and finally failed to be held.
“It’s not about disbanding, we want an activity that is suspected to be LGBT, we directly coordinate with several parties, so that we don’t carry out these activities,” said Megamendung Police Chief AKP Tri Lesmana, Sunday (6/19/2022).
The event was originally to be held in a villa in the Megamendung area. However, the event was allegedly related to LGBT so it was prevented.
“What is clear is that we know that the chairman of the committee wants an activity at Megamendung, there is information that the event is an event (allegedly) related to LGBT. ?) understanding of the dangers of HIV/Aids,” he said.
This precaution is to anticipate the mass dispersal when the event is held. Thus, preventive measures were taken by not giving permission or asking for the event to be cancelled.
“It hasn’t happened yet, if it does, there are legal rules. Because it hasn’t happened, we are afraid that the masses or other parties will disperse, we will prevent it first. Right, this is (allegedly) identical to LGBT activities,” he said.****
