78 Percent of Graduates of SMA Negeri 1 Dua Koto Are Accepted at State Universities

Fajarasia.co – The quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Dua Koto, Pasaman Regency is getting better. A total of 184 students who graduated from the school were accepted at well-known state universities in Indonesia.

Of the 184 students who passed, 2 people graduated from higher education through the entrance selection without a written test or interest and achievement tracking (PMDP), then 12 people went through the joint selection to enter state universities (SBMPTN).

Furthermore, 29 people passed the national selection to enter state universities (SNMPTN), 42 people passed the national selection to enter state polytechnics (SNMPN), and 100 students passed the national academic achievement selection path for state Islamic religious universities (SPAN PTKIN).

Efriedi, Principal of SMA 1 Dua Koto, said, Alhamdulillah, 74 percent of students graduated and were accepted into state universities. This means that of the 235 graduates of SMA 1 Dua Koto in 2022, there are 184 students who continue their education.

SMA 1 Dua Koto is always committed to improving the quality of education with the aim of increasing intelligence, knowledge, personality, noble character, and skills to live independently and participate in further education, said Efriedi.

Thank God for this year, schools contributed 2 digits of the percentage of additional output to be accepted into universities. Where in 2021 yesterday there were 148 students, and now it has increased to 184 people, he said.

God willing, in the future, we will always make good efforts from all the teacher councils in schools to improve the quality of education, especially with the face-to-face process at school.

For the 2022-2023 academic year, SMA 1 Dua Koto is fully prepared to implement the Independent Learning curriculum, he concluded. (Gani)
