What is the figure of Puan in Trimedya’s eyes?
As a cadre who has been in the party for a long time, Trimedya believes that Puan is a true leader, who doesn’t like to play in public spaces.
“Ms. Puan is not the type of leader who likes to pretend that she polishes herself as if she is populist, as if she will side with the people, but Ms. Puan tries to be a leader, that’s how she is, she was born as Bung Karno’s grandson, Mrs. Mega’s son, Mr. Taufik’s son. According to Trimedya, looking for a leader must be what it is, not making himself look like he is most in favor of the people. Trimedya then highlighted Ganjar who was only polishing himself from public opinion.

Trimedya then explained Puan’s clear track record since she was the Chair of the PDIP Faction during the SBY opposition era from 2009-2014 and Ganjar was a member of the faction at that time.
“Mbak Puan, her performance from the head of the faction to her being able to organize the PDI-P as our opposition party can be counted on. Just look at us in the past, there were a lot of attractions that we did that were different from those of the opposition now, it’s not clear,” said Trimedya.
Then, as Coordinating Minister for PMK 2014-2019, Puan managed to organize 7 Ministries, all of whom performed well and were relatively successful.
“Everything is good, the budget absorption is good, the performance is also good. Then he relatively succeeded in making the tagline of mental revolution down to earth and it had become our icon, yes, the mental revolution was echoed by Pak Jokowi,” said the Deputy Chair of the DPR MKD.
Lastly, in the DPR, Trimedya also considers that Puan has succeeded in leading the DPR in the midst of a high political constellation, especially since the DPR leaders are the best cadres of political parties in Senayan.
