Puan emphasized that until now there has been no discussion on who will be promoted as a presidential candidate or vice presidential candidate from the PDIP in 2024.
“But the Chairperson said that in accordance with the mandate of the Congress, the General Chairperson of the PDI-Struggle has the prerogative to determine who the presidential candidate is from the PDI-Struggle,” said Puan when answering reporters’ questions on the sidelines of the PDI-P II National Working Meeting at the Lenteng Agung Party School, South Jakarta. , Tuesday (21/6/2022).

Puan said it had been two years since the party cadres had not gathered in one event because of the pandemic. “This is the first time we have gathered to joke, make jokes and it was conveyed to us that we must be enthusiastic, we must be enthusiastic,” said Puan.
