Fajarasia.co – The Directorate General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) inaugurated the use of the Drone Registration System Application, Drone Pilot and Drone Operation Approval (SIDOPI-GO) and the Indonesian Aircraft Registration System Application (SIPUDI), on Tuesday (14/6).
Acting Director General of Civil Aviation (Plt Director General Hubud) Nur Isnin Istiartono, led the inauguration accompanied by Director of Aviation Navigation Sigit Hani and Director of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operation Dadun Kohar.
“These two applications are a form of the Directorate General of Hubud’s commitment in providing excellent service to flight operators and drone stakeholders in improving the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). They will enjoy an easier, shorter and transparent licensing process,” said Nur Isnin in a press statement received by the Editor, Wednesday (15/6/2022).
Nur Isnin explained, SIDOPI-GO is an application developed related to controlling drone operations in Indonesia.
With this application, operating approvals can be given in an integrated manner in one door, so that it becomes more effective, transparent and can be monitored directly in line with the increasing trend of drone utilization in Indonesia.
Furthermore, SIPUDI is an application developed for the online aircraft registration certificate issuance process, so that service users, namely flight operators, can easily access online, quickly, accurately, and transparently.
Even though it is done online, all drone operation licensing processes and aircraft registration still refer to the applicable rules and regulations.
The implementation of this application is expected to be a reference for the licensing process, especially in the world of aviation so that it can play a role in advancing aviation in Indonesia.
“The benefits of this application are not only for flight operators and drone activists, but to meet the community’s needs for air transportation services. Socialization is important to be carried out massively so that the implementation of this application can reach the wider community,” said Nur Isnin.****
