Fajarasia.co – To support the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN), the Ministry of PUPR through the NTB Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center held a follow-up meeting to discuss the readiness criteria for the sanitation and drinking water sector of the Lombok KSPN, Thursday (19/05) in Mataram.
This activity is a follow-up to the results of the discussion on the readiness for the implementation of ITDC activities in the sanitation and drinking water sector at KSPN Lombok.
Bambang Supratomo, S.IP, Plt. The President Director of PDAM Tirta Ardhia Rinjani, Central Lombok explained that he was present to represent the Central Lombok Regional Government regarding the Mandalika SPAM.
In this follow-up meeting, the PDAM, the Environment Service and the Central Lombok PUPR Service were present as representatives of the Central Lombok Regional Government, he explained.
Bambang also outlined several discussion points related to the construction of the Mandalika SPAM KSPN.
The important point is that the first phase of the Mandalika SPAM construction project will be completed no later than October, with 50 liters per second allocated specifically for the SEZ first, he concluded.
“It doesn’t stop there, the Mandalika SPAM construction project will also proceed to the second phase of construction where the clean water production will be allocated for the SEZ buffer area, namely 5 villages in Pujut District,” he continued.
The youngest director of PDAM also seems optimistic that PDAM Lombok Tengah will be better in the future.
“Alhamdulillah, we have signed the agreement on the results of the discussion on the plan for the implementation of development activities (RPKP) for the Mandalika SPAM. Hopefully, with the operation of the Mandalika SPAM, in the future it will be able to have a positive impact on the community’s clean water needs, especially in the southern region and can improve the quality Central Lombok PDAM service is getting better,” he concluded.
