Fajarasia.co – The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) has taken action to block or prevent abroad from 5 witnesses in the case of alleged corruption in land acquisition at the City Parks and Forests Service for the 2018 fiscal year.
The process of preventing a number of parties from going abroad was submitted directly by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office, Reda Manthovani, on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, related to the land mafia case in Cipayung, East Jakarta.
“Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office, Reda Manthovani, has submitted a request for prevention abroad against 5 people related to the investigation into the alleged corruption case of land acquisition by the Parks and Forests Office of DKI Jakarta Province in Cipayung District, East Jakarta Administration City in 2018,” said Head of the Penkum Kejati DKI Jakarta, Ashari Syam in his statement Tuesday (7/6/2022) night.
Meanwhile, Ashari said, the five people who had been prevented from traveling abroad were JFR, PWN, HSW, HH, and LDS.
However, he has not explained in detail whether the 5 witnesses have the potential to be suspects or not in the case of alleged corruption of the land mafia related to land acquisition by the City Parks and Forests Service, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
According to Ashari, the reason for the application for prevention abroad against the 5 people is in the interest of investigation. Because their information is needed in the process of investigating and naming a number of suspects.
“So at any time, suddenly and urgently, suddenly (five people) information is needed by investigators,” he explained.
So, Ashari continued, the statements of 5 witnesses could facilitate the investigation process in cases of alleged corruption in land acquisition at the City Parks and Forests Service.
“And also to make light of the alleged corruption incident, and find the suspect,” he said.
Ashari added, the prevention of going abroad for the 5 witnesses was for 6 months, and could be extended until the investigation process had been completed.
“The ban is carried out for a period of 6 months and can be extended,” he said
Previously, the Attorney General’s Office raised the case of alleged corruption in land acquisition in Cipayung, East Jakarta to an investigation based on the Investigation Order (Sprindik) of the Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office Number: Print-01/M.1/Fd.1/01/2022 dated January 19, 2022.
In addition to examining witnesses, the Jakarta Special Prosecutor’s Office Investigating Special Prosecutor’s Team also searched the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forests Office last Thursday (20/1/2022).
Based on the results of the preliminary investigation, it was found that the Notary with the initials LDS together with JFR as a broker or broker made price arrangements for 9 land owners in Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.
The nine land owners only received compensation for land acquisition of IDR 1,600,000 per meter.
Meanwhile, the price paid by the City Parks and Forest Service Office of DKI Jakarta Province to land owners is an average of IDR 2,700,000 per meter. So there is the remaining money that is not paid to the owner of the land.
“So that the money from the land acquisition that is enjoyed by the LDS and JFR Notaries is Rp. 17.7 billion, it is suspected that the money from the land acquisition has flowed to a number of elements in the City Parks and Forests Service and related parties,” said Ashari.****
