Fajarasia.co – The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) has confirmed that the nomination of Puan Maharani as a presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 General Election will continue.
This was conveyed by the chairman of the PDIP DPP Djarot Saiful Hidayat to the media crew, in Jakarta, Tuesday (26/7/2022). For him, the existence of the survey results is not too a benchmark in carrying a figure.
“The survey is good and for us the survey is not a benchmark, the survey is not a benchmark and does not run dynamically,” said Djarot.
Djarot also said that the survey was in line with his party’s performance. So according to him, the better the work, the better the survey results will be.
“The survey depends on us, how PDIP cadres work. It is not a benchmark, because it is dynamic,” he explained.
In fact, the Chairperson of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, had also conveyed to her cadres not to fall for the survey results. Because in every party survey, PDIP always sits at number one.
“It is always conveyed by the ketum mother so as not to be amazed by the survey results. We have to keep going down,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of Indonesian Political Parameters Adi Prayitno said that for PDIP the rise and fall of the survey results only became political colors. It’s not the main thing that deserves a lot of attention.
“If you look at the general trend, the public’s response to Ganjar is massive, the electability is relatively significant. Even since the beginning of this year, it is at the peak of electability,” he said.
“The dilemma is, for PDIP all of this is just an ornament of democracy. Because for PDIP in the presidential candidate process is how to wait for the party’s orders,” he concluded.****
