Fajarasia.co – Filling the soundtrack for the series “My Lecturer My Husband 2”, Rizky Febian admitted that he did not expect the two songs to be accepted as the opening and closing songs for the series.
“I was told whether or not I want to try to make a soundtrack for a series. I also know the series, especially the ones that play Reza and Prilly. I’m a fan of both. So when I was given an opportunity like that, I didn’t want to waste it,” said Rizky when met in South Jakarta, Saturday.
“At first, I still didn’t know how to make one or two. So at that time I asked for a synopsis of the story, because I didn’t want it to be just Iky’s heart. Iky wanted to relate to her MLMH. Finally, I tried to make two songs,” he added.
Furthermore, Rizky admitted that the reason for making two songs was because he was afraid of rejection. So he also made two songs in the hope that one of them could be accepted as the soundtrack for the series “My Lecturer My Husband 2”.
“Actually, I was afraid of the rejection of the person. So I made two. If you make two of the chosen ones, one is rejected. So it’s a draw. In the end, I sent two, who knows, they were accepted. Surprisingly, both of them were instead used as soundtracks. So it is an honor for Iky personally,” he said.
Rizky also admitted that making a song for a film or series is more difficult than a song for himself. Because when making the soundtrack, Rizky said that a musician must suppress his ego so that the song is still suitable for films or series.
“It’s easier to make songs like you like. Because maybe it depends on what we feel. But if a soundtrack we have to hold back our own ego. Because as musicians sometimes there is a sense of idealism itself,” said Rizky.
For this series, Rizky Febian will bring the soundtrack entitled “Thousands of Hearts” and “Dirimu Satu”. The release of “Dirimu Satu” will coincide with the launch of the first episode of “My Lecturer My Husband Season 2” on May 27. *****
