Fajarasia.co – In an effort to create a religious Tanjungbalai City, the Acting Mayor of Tanjungbalai H Waris Tholib, S.Ag, MM promised to continue to encourage the congregational dawn prayer movement. This was stated by H Waris Tholib when holding a dawn safari and congregational dawn prayers at the Baittuhrahman Mosque, Pahang Village, Datuk Bandar District, Tanjungbalai City, Sunday (19/6).
According to H Waris, the prayer movement together with the community will continue as one of the religious programs of the Tanjungbalai City Government (Pemkot). He said, in the spirit of maintaining the existence of the religious vision and mission of Tanjungbalai City, the congregational dawn prayer safari will be carried out from mosques to mosques and prayer rooms in Tanjungbalai City.
“The dawn prayer safari activity in congregation is part of my endeavor to lead Tanjungbalai City, therefore, I hope to get support from the Muslim community in Tanjungbalai City. We all want good for our area, Tanjungbalai City, for that let’s We invite blessings from Allah, Insha Allah, mercy and blessings will be sent down to this Tanjungbalai area, “he said.
H Waris also hopes that all people in Tanjungbalai City will always increase their faith and piety while quoting the wise words of Buya Hamka regarding the values of faith in Islam. He said, “If you want to see a Muslim then look at the Eid al-Fitr, that’s a Muslim. But if you want to see a believer, then come to the mosque during the morning prayer.”
On the congregational dawn prayer safari, the Pemko Tanjungbalai also invited Al-ustad Fitra Juanda Nasution S. Pd. I to convey tausiyah. The congregational dawn prayer safari activity was attended by the leaders of the OPD, Camat, Lurah, Kepling and the Baittuhrahman Mosque Jama’at, Pahang Village, Datuk Bandar District, Tanjungbalai City.
