Fajarasia, co – Chair of the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani said the opening of the 2021 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) by General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri was fluid and friendly. Then the family atmosphere is also very strong, like how President Joko Widodo relaxed and informally spoke in the office of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.
Puan said that this Rakernas was the first PDIP meeting attended by Ketum Megawati during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“So, indeed, the atmosphere was very familial and before the event started, we had a casual and informal conversation in the Mrs. Ketum room, which was not set,” said Puan Maharani in response to reporters at the Party School, Tuesday (21/6/2022).
“We should all come, if it’s time to come to the event room. However, because there is still time, we go into the general chairman’s room. And indeed, the new chairman of the president today also entered his room for the first time. So the atmosphere was very fluid, so it was like a family We are in a relationship,” added Mrs.
What Puan meant was when President Jokowi was present at the National Working Meeting before the opening. Before entering the meeting room, Jokowi met Megawati, who had arrived earlier and was in her office. Puan was also present there, along with Prananda Prabowo. There is also the Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and the Head of BIN Budi Gunawan.
According to Puan, her party is grateful that the National Working Meeting is going well. At the event, Ketum Megawati instructed her staff to be solid in facing the 2024 General Election.
“So, thank God, President Jokowi has opened it and, of course, in the direction of the general chairman, he said the party must be solid,” said Puan.
Puan added that her party is also focused on winning the next election with the first agenda completing the initial stages on June 14 which has been determined by the KPU. Then, PDIP will follow the verification stage and so on.
“Third, of course, is how we must be disciplined in carrying out party rules to be able to follow all stages on February 14, 2024,” said Puan.
On the other hand, he said, party officials also listened to the views and plans for the activities of the PDIP Foreign Representative Council. The chairman of the PDIP Foreign DPP, Ahmad Basarah, will soon visit France to showcase Bung Karno’s photo.
This activity is a collaboration with the Mayor of Paris.
Not only that, Puan also emphasized that party officials are increasingly carrying out activities.
“Of course, how do we establish cooperation communication with other political parties, how can we carry out the stages of the election and win the election in the future,” explained Puan.****
