President Prabowo Launches Smartboard Program, Shares Inspirational Message with Students

Fajarasia.id  – President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, officially inaugurated the nationwide smartboard program as part of the government’s digital learning initiative, Indonesia Cerdas, on Monday, November 17, 2025. The launch ceremony took place at SMP Negeri 4 Bekasi, West Java, and was followed virtually by students across the country.

During the event, President Prabowo wrote a motivational message on the interactive flat panel (smartboard), encouraging students to study diligently, respect teachers, love their parents, maintain friendships, and foster patriotism.

“Study well! Love your father and mother! Respect your teachers! Be kind to your friends! Love our homeland! Merdeka!” wrote President Prabowo, signing his name and the date of the launch beneath the message.

The program involves the distribution of smartboards to more than 173,000 schools nationwide, underscoring the government’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation in education.

The launch was carried out alongside Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti, and student representatives, who symbolically pressed a button to mark the beginning of smartboard use in schools.

Following the inauguration, President Prabowo and Minister Abdul Mu’ti toured the school facilities and observed a demonstration of smartboard usage by teachers and students. The technology enables interactive distance learning, offering a more collaborative and engaging classroom experience compared to traditional one-way media such as smart TVs.

The introduction of smartboards aligns with Presidential Instruction No. 7 of 2025, which emphasizes revitalizing educational institutions, developing model schools, and accelerating the digitalization of learning across Indonesia.****
