Fajarasia.co – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his entourage arrived at Munich International Airport, Munich, Germany, Sunday (26/6/2022) at around 18.40 local time. President Jokowi took a flight of approximately 13 hours on a Garuda Indonesia aircraft with flight code GIA-1.
As they descended the stairs with his wife Iriana Joko Widodo, they were greeted by the Minister of European and International Affairs, State of Bavaria Melanie Huml, the Indonesian Ambassador to Germany Arif Havas Oegroseno and his wife, and the Indonesian Defense Attaché Colonel Budi Wibowo and his wife.
The troops were seen wearing traditional Bavarian clothes, who participated in welcoming President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana.
Next, the President and Mrs. Iriana and their entourage went to the hotel where they spent the night by car. Arriving at the hotel, hundreds of Indonesians waving red and white flags shouted “Pak Jokowi… Pak Jokowi”, waiting for President Jokowi to arrive.
The President, who saw the enthusiasm of the people, immediately got out of the car and greeted the people.
Meanwhile, at the hotel door, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, who arrived early to prepare for the President’s visit in Germany, seemed to welcome.
President Jokowi is scheduled to attend the G7 Summit (KTT) tomorrow at Elmau Palace, Germany.
