Fajarasia.co – Investigators from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dit Reskrimsus) of the NTT Regional Police, Monday (27/06/2022) delegated Phase II of the alleged corruption case in the construction of the Mnesatbatan Irrigation, North Central Timor Regency (TTU) worth Rp. 1.2 billion, at the TTU Regency PUPR Service in 2017.
The delegation of phase II was carried out by investigators from the Dit Reskkrimsus Polda NTT, after the prosecutor investigating the case file at the East Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejatu NTT) declared the file complete (P – 21).
In the second phase of delegation carried out by investigators from the Dit Reskrimsus Polda NTT, case files, evidence (BB) and three suspects were submitted including WL as PPK (Commitment Making Officer), DB (Supervisory consultant) and M (executing contractor).
The Head of the East Nusa Tenggara District Attorney’s Office, Hutama Wisnu, S. H, M. H who was confirmed through the Head of Penkum and Public Relations of the NTT Prosecutor’s Office, Abdul Hakim, S. H, Tuesday (28/06/2022) confirmed the transfer of phase II by investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the NTT Police.
“Yes, it’s true. Yesterday, investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda NTT conducted phase II to the Public Prosecutor (JPU) at the NTT Prosecutor’s Office related to the alleged corruption case in irrigation development worth Rp. 1.2 billion,” explained Abdul.
According to Abdul, after receiving the delegation of Phase II from the investigators of the Dit Reskrimsus Polda NTT, the Prosecutor’s Office of the NTT Prosecutor’s Office will prepare charges for the three suspects in the case worth Rp. 1.2 billion.
Abdul emphasized that in one week at the latest, the NTT Prosecutor’s Office will transfer the case files, evidence and suspects to the Kupang Corruption Court (Tipikor) for trial.
“In the near future, it will be transferred to the Kupang Corruption Court after the NTT Prosecutor’s Office has compiled the indictments for the three suspects,” said Abdul.
To note, the irrigation development project in Mnesatbatan, North Central Timor Regency (TTU) is worth Rp. 1.2 billion, at the TTU Regency PUPR Service in 2017, the state suffered a state financial loss of Rp. 1.1 billion.(rey)
