Fajarasia.co – PKS DPP Secretary General Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi hopes that the government should use a cabinet reshuffle or “reshuffle” to improve the performance of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
“PKS as an opposition party certainly hopes that the government will focus on economic recovery. Therefore, a cabinet reshuffle should be used to increase the performance of the cabinet,” said Aboe Bakar in a press statement received by the Editor, Thursday (16/6/2022).
He considered that the suggestion to focus on improving the cabinet’s performance was aimed at enabling the remaining term of office of the current government to be used optimally to restore the national economy.
In addition, Aboe Bakar said the public saw the cabinet reshuffle carried out by President Jokowi because he wanted to make an economic recovery faster.
According to him, this can be seen with the President’s move to replace the Minister of Trade and the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (Minister of ATR/Head of BPN).
“The president wants to make an even faster economic recovery, so there will be a change in the minister of trade. Meanwhile, the change in the Minister of ATR/BPN is likely to accelerate the entry of investment into Indonesia,” he said.
The member of Commission III of the DPR RI assesses that the public will see the cabinet reshuffle as a succession process that is being prepared by President Jokowi.
“It could be that the parties that currently get a share (into the cabinet) will be included in the coalition that carries Jokowi’s successor candidate,” he said.
Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated Zulkifli Hasan as Minister of Trade and Hadi Tjahjanto as Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) at the State Palace, Jakarta, last Wednesday.
The inauguration of Zulkifli Hasan and Hadi Tjahjanto was based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 64P of 2022 concerning the Appointment of State Ministers for the Advanced Indonesian Cabinet for the Period of 2019-2024 which was set on 15 June 2022.
President Jokowi also inaugurated three new Deputy Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, namely Wempi Wetipo as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Afrianyah Noor as Deputy Minister of Manpower, and Raja Juli Anthony as Deputy Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency.
The inauguration of the three deputy ministers is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 M of 2022 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Deputy Ministers of the Advanced Indonesian Cabinet for the period 2019-2024.****
