Fajarasia.co – The chairman of the PDI-P DPP Djarot Saiful Hidayat responded to the results of the Politics Research and Consulting (PRC) survey, which showed that Puan Maharani’s electability was only 1.3 percent.
Djarot emphasized that for PDIP the survey results did not become a benchmark for presidential candidacy. Therefore, the promotion of Puan Maharani as a presidential candidate will still be carried out by the PDIP.
“The survey is good, and for us the survey is not a benchmark, the survey is not a benchmark and does not run dynamically,” said Djarot as quoted on Tuesday (26/7/2022).
Djarot believes that the survey results will be influenced by the political work of party cadres. He reiterated that PDIP should not be used as a benchmark survey because it is very dynamic.
“The survey depends on us, how our political work is, how the PDIP cadres work. He is not a benchmark, because he is very dynamic, so thank you,” said Djarot.
Djarot also revealed that PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri had reminded PDIP cadres not to be influenced by surveys. PDIP cadres remain and must go down to the community and not be complacent with the survey results.
“Various results from the PDIP survey will definitely win, number one, you know, but I will tell you, and was reminded by the ketum not to be amazed by the results, no. We have to keep going down,” said Djarot.
Previously, the results of the presidential candidate electability survey showed the difference between Ganjar Pranowo and Puan Maharani. The Executive Director of Politica Research & Consulting (PRC), Rio Prayogo said, the difference between Ganjar and Puan’s electability is like the earth and the sky.
