Fajarasia.co – A number of palm oil farmers in Lampung thanked President Joko Widodo for the re-opening of exports of cooking oil and Crude Palm Oil (CPO) on Monday (23/5/2022).
The association of oil palm CPO mills in Mesuji Regency, Tugino appreciated the government’s policy.
“We are very happy to hear that,” he said at Mesuji.
According to him, the policy will greatly affect the life of his family. Policies can restore the economy, both for the family and for the country.
“We know that a few years ago the export ban made our income decline. But with this policy, of course, we can slowly improve the welfare of oil palm farmers in Lampung,” he said.
The farmer from Tulang Bawang, Ponidi said the same thing. He really appreciates the entire government, especially to President Joko Widodo who has reopened the export of cooking oil and CPO.
The re-opening of exports, he continued, would certainly be able to prosper the oil palm farmers who had fallen some time ago.
“Hopefully in the future, with the reopening, this can provide a good economic improvement for the country, especially Lampung.
Besides that, of course, it can also help our economy,” he said.
Previously, Indonesian President Joko Widodo officially lifted the ban on exports of cooking oil and Crude Palm Oil (CPO).***
