Fajarasia.co – Rahmatan Council Advisor Lil Alamin Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar invited the Chairman of the Russian Muslim Spiritual Council (Mufti) Albir Krganov in a tablig akbar or joint recitation to pray for the world’s Muslims to unite and call for world peace.
“This Koran with the Mufti of Russia is in order to pray for the world’s Muslims to unite and work hard to call for world peace,” said Cak Imin, Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar’s nickname in a written statement received in Jakarta, Friday (17/6/2022).
In addition, Cak Imin also stated that he had deliberately invited the famous Russian cleric in a tablig akbar entitled “Muslims for World Peace”, at the Great Mosque of Sunda Kelapa, Jakarta, Thursday, as an effort to make Russia immediately reconcile with Ukraine.
Apart from Cak Imin and Sheikh Albir Krganov, the tablig akbar was also attended by habibs, scholars, and ustaz or assatids throughout Greater Jakarta.
The chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) admitted that from the beginning he had firmly asked Russia to immediately end the invasion or military occupation of Ukraine because it was seen as causing more harm.
As a figure in the country who has been the most vigorous in campaigning for world peace, particularly related to the war between Russia and Ukraine, Cak Imin has met the Ukrainian Ambassador to Indonesia Vasyl Hamianin, and the Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Lyudmila Vorobieva.
Then, some time ago, Cak Imin also had a direct dialogue with Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky to discuss the condition of his country which was attacked by Russia.
In fact, Cak Imin also specifically held a prayer event with thousands of kiai and habibs in East Java for peace in Russia and Ukraine.
In connection with his visit to Indonesia, the Mufti of Russia Albir Krganov was accompanied by religious leaders, several Russian people, scholars, and representatives of the business community from the Russian Muslim region.
