Fajarasia.co – The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has opened mobile SIM services in five locations from 08.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB, for people who will take care of extending the validity period of their driving license (SIM) on Saturday (28/5/2022).
Reporting from the Twitter page @TMCPoldaMetro, Saturday, the Mobile SIM service operates at Grand Cakung Mall, East Jakarta, Trilogy Kalibata Campus, South Jakarta, Lindeteves Trade Center (LTC) Glodok and Citraland Mall West Jakarta, as well as the Lapangan Banteng Post Office, Central Jakarta.
SIM holders who wish to renew at the Mobile SIM outlets are expected to prepare the necessary documents, namely the original KTP and original SIM along with photocopies, fill out an application form, and take a medical test at the outlet location.
Please note that the Mobile SIM (Simling) service only serves valid SIM A and SIM C extensions.
For the renewal fee, according to PP Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, it is IDR 80,000 for SIM A renewal and IDR 75,000 for SIM C extension.
In addition, SIM applicants must also prepare a fee of IDR 60,000 for the cost of a psychological test at the location.
For SIMs that have expired, the SIM holder must apply for a new SIM at a place determined by the police.
As for the type of SIM B, it is not possible to extend the validity period of the Mobile SIM service, but it must be extended at the SIM Satpas office due to differences in the allocation of documents.
The SIM B document is required for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons.
While at the Mobile SIM outlet location, always apply health protocols by wearing masks, washing hands with soap and running water, and maintaining distance and away from crowds.
The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya also informed the public who wish to pay motorized vehicle tax that the Mobile One-Stop Single Administration System (Samsat) does not provide services in the DKI Jakarta area on Saturday.(28/5/2022).****
