“The provision of the 13th salary is regulated through Government Regulation Number 16 of 2022. Adjusted to the situation of improving economic recovery and the health of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN),” Sri Mulyani said in a press statement received by the Editor, Wednesday (29/6/2022). ).
According to the Minister of Finance, the 13th salary is given at the base salary/pension and allowances attached to the basic salary/pension. The allowances are family allowances, food allowances, structural/functional/general position allowances. And plus 50 percent of the performance allowance per month for those who get the performance allowance.
“So the difference from 2021 is the 13th salary this year plus 50 percent of the monthly performance allowance,” said Sri Mulyani.
As for the Regional Government, a maximum of 50 percent of additional income by taking into account the capacity of the regional fiscal capacity and in accordance with statutory regulations.
The 13th salary in 2022 is given to all state civil servants and retirees. It consists of 1.79 million central state civil servants, 3.65 million regional state civil servants, and 3.32 million retirees.
Meanwhile, the budget for the 13th salary is allocated through Ministries/Agencies with a total amount of Rp. 11.5 trillion for Central ASN, TNI and Polri, and through the General Allocation Fund (DAU) of Rp. 15 trillion for Regional ASN. And it can be added from the 2022 APBD according to the fiscal capacity of each local government, according to applicable regulations. As for retirees, the budget for the 13th salary is allocated through the State General Treasurer and the amount is Rp 9 trillion.
“The provision of the 13th salary is a form of appreciation for the contribution and service of state apparatus and retirees. Especially in dealing with the pandemic through community services and national economic recovery.
