Fajarasia.co – Puan Maharani’s steps on the political stage have become more stable with the support of volunteers. This was marked by the establishment of the National Secretariat (Seknas) Puan Maharani. Formed earlier this September, the National Leadership Council (DPN) of the National Secretariat Puan Maharani immediately inaugurated the management in DKI Jakarta.
“Jakarta as the capital city and the barometer of Indonesian politics is the first area we have inaugurated,” said Elvi Diana, Chairperson of the National Secretariat, Puan Maharani, when inaugurating the Jakarta administration, at Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Saturday (10/9/2022).
Furthermore, in the next three months administrators will be appointed in 34 provinces in Indonesia. “We are committed to supporting Ms. Puan. Especially because she is a woman who has good track records in the world of politics. In addition, she is the grandson of the founder of this nation, Ir. Soekarno. So, she is a complete figure,” he said.
The same thing was said by La Ode Umar Bonte, one of the founders of the National Secretariat, Puan Maharani. “The formation of Puan Maharani’s National Secretariat has nothing to do with her candidacy. It should be emphasized that we are in line with Ms. Puan and whatever she wants to do for the nation and country, we are ready to support her,” said Umar Bonte, who is also known as the Chairman of the KNPI DPP.
He realized that the matter for Puan’s candidacy was PDI-Perjuangan. “We do not enter into that realm. However, as a community movement, we will support Puan and invite women and millennial groups to also be in the ranks of Puan Maharani,” he added.
The inauguration of the Puan National Secretariat Management in DKI Jakarta was marked by the handover of a Decree and a plaque by Elvi Diana to Andre Bolang, the Chairperson of the Puan National Secretariat DPW. “After this, we, the management of the National Secretariat of Puan Jakarta, will go to the community with various programs to socialize the figure of Puan Maharani so that people can understand more,” said Andre.
She emphasized that the National Secretariat of Puan was committed to fully support Puan’s performance in building this nation.
On that occasion, Puan Maharani’s Declaration of National Secretariat was voiced which was read by St. Fatima Umar Secretary General of the National Secretariat of Pua. It contains a commitment to be loyal to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. We are also committed to creating an honest, integrity, anti-identity politics, and 2024 general election that is honest, safe and peaceful.
In addition, the National Secretariat Puan is ready to work together in realizing regional progress throughout Indonesia with the spirit of tolerance, mutual cooperation, and justice in all things. (*)
