G20 Indonesia So the location of the G20, the Ministry of PUPR rehabilitates TMII Rp 1.2 trillion

Fajarasia.co – The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has prepared a budget of IDR 1.2 trillion to carry out a large-scale rehabilitation of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), which will also be the location of the 2022 G20 Summit meeting.

“For Mini Park, the budget is IDR 1.2 trillion, so it’s really huge,” said PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, mat (10/6/2022).

Basuki explained that the PUPR Ministry was tasked with preparing infrastructure and beautifying Bali and TMII.

He added that the rehabilitation carried out at TMII covers almost all locations, starting from the archipelago lake which contains miniatures of the Indonesian islands, meeting buildings, roads to parking lots.

“At TMII, we do massive rehabilitation like the GBK (Gelora Bung Karno) first, including the archipelago lakes we repair, we repair roads, we repair buildings, we repair parking lots. Hopefully it will get better and indeed We haven’t touched in a long time,” he said.

Meanwhile, for the preparation of infrastructure in Bali, the PUPR Ministry has the task of repairing the VIP room at Ngurah Rai Airport at a cost of around Rp. 50 billion, as well as constructing a mangrove nursery and estuary dam.

“Because the President wants to show that Indonesia is moving towards green energy. So, we will open mangroves later, all heads of state will be brought to the mangroves in the estuary dam,” he said.

Basuki said that all preparations are targeted to be completed in June and July 2022. This includes beautifying the airport toll road carried out by PT Jasa Marga without using the state budget.

“The whole of Bali, the budget is Rp. 850 billion. Mini Parks are much bigger (Rp. 1.2 trillion), in Bali it is Rp. 850 billion,” he said…****
