Fajarasia.co – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said Pancasila was the guide for the Indonesian nation in facing various challenges and tests.
This was conveyed by the Head of State in his mandate while leading the Pancasila Birthday Ceremony at Pancasila Field, Ende, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Wednesday (1/6/2022).
“And this has been proven many times in the course of the nation’s history, that our nation and state can still stand firmly as a strong country because we all agree to be based on Pancasila,” the President said in his mandate.
The President also asked the entire nation to really practice and fight for the values of Pancasila in their daily lives.
“But, I always remind you. We must really practice Pancasila and fight for Pancasila. We make it happen in our social, national and state systems. We implement it in governance and also animate interactions between fellow children of the nation,” he said.
“This is our collective duty, the duty of all components of the nation, to make Pancasila an ideology by all of Indonesia’s bloodshed,” he continued.
The Head of State added that the world is currently facing a volatile situation. Starting from the Covid-19 pandemic, energy and food shortages, and war.
Therefore, the President said, Indonesia as the G20 Presidency invites all countries to work together to face global turmoil.
“As the holder of the mandate of the G20 Presidency, we invite all developed countries in the world to work together to create a better human being, build a global health system that is able to face future crises. With world governance that is healthier, more peaceful, and more humane and more fair,” he said.
Finally, the President also invited all national leaders, especially government officials, religious leaders, community leaders, educators, political party leaders, leaders and figures of mass organizations, as well as other leaders to be role models and examples in the actualization of Pancasila values.
“Inviting the whole community to move actively to strengthen the values of Pancasila in realizing an advanced Indonesia, realizing the ideals of the proclamation of independence,” he said.
