Fajarasia.co – Deputy Minister of Religion (Wamenag) Zainut Tauhid appealed to the public not to be easily influenced by propaganda and caliphate campaigns from any group that could damage state ideology.
He also appreciated the steps taken by the police to arrest the leader of the Khilafatul Muslimin, Abdul Qadir Hasan Baraja.
“Believe me that the concept of the Pancasila state is the final form of the results of the ijtihad of the scholars,” said Zainut to reporters, Thursday (9/6/2022).
“The concept of Pancasila ideology is most appropriate and in accordance with the Indonesian nation which is plural, diverse and diverse in terms of ethnicity, race, culture, language and religion,” he explained.
Previously, Polda Metro Jaya arrested the leader of the Muslim Khilafatul Abdul Qadir Hasan Baraja for spreading the concept of caliphate. The group has carried out provocations, hate speech, and spread false news.
Khilafatul Muslims spread the concept of the caliphate through bulletins on a regular basis every month. Apart from bulletins, Khilafatul Muslimin also spreads their beliefs through leaflets to websites and making videos.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that his party would continue to develop and deepen investigations related to the Khilafatul Muslimin case.
