Fajarasia.co – PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) is holding the Nusantara Fish Grill Festival and Nusantara Culinary Serving ‘Mustika Rasa’ in the Bung Karno Month (BBK) 2022 series at Hall B JCC Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday (25/6/2022).
General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri was present at the opening of the event via virtual. At the location, the Secretary General of the PDIP DPP Hasto Kristiyanto was present with the Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives who is also the Chair of the PDIP DPP for Political Affairs, Puan Maharani, as well as other DPP Chairs such as Ribka Tjiptaning and Rokhmin Dahuri. Also present were the Deputy Secretary General of PDIP Sadarestuwati and the Chairperson of the 2022 BBK Committee Andreas Hugo Pareira.
In her opening remarks, Puan said that Bung Karno had always seen the richness of Indonesian culinary recipes.
“Bung Karno has always seen the culinary glory of the archipelago, so he initiated the collection of various culinary recipes from various regions and made them into one Mustika Rasa book,” said Puan.
“If we look at the Mustika Rasa book, it’s very complete. Those who can’t cook can also cook. Because you can use this, you can use this, the amount is like this, like this. Then there are if the cut is tilted, there is straight, there is a square, Yes, like you like. Usually there is according to taste. It is complete in the book, “he added.
Puan explained that this event was made at the same time to emphasize the importance of implementing food security to anticipate global impacts, including the Russo-Ukrainian war.
“I asked why I made a Mustika Rasa recipe and grilled fish together? Why? Now, food security, food sovereignty, is very important, especially during the war between Russia and Ukraine,” said Puan.
Puan added that President Jokowi had warned that a number of countries were starting to lack food due to the global impact.
“All of these countries yesterday when they came to the National Working Meeting Ketum and Pak Jokowi, Mr. President, now have a shortage of food related to their food. There are even countries that do not want to release food or food ingredients for export because they are stored country,” he said.
In the event, Puan had time to burn fish, which can be enjoyed by cadres and the community at the JCC.
Meanwhile, the Chair of the DPP PDIP Tourism Sector, Wiryanti Sukamdani, added that the Nusantara Ikan Bakar Festival will also present a seminar or book review ‘Mustika Rasa’, and talk shows about fish as a source of protein with nutritionists.
Not only held at the JCC, Sukamdani also said that this event was also held in 451 regencies/cities with a minimum number of 150 participants each.
“So a total of 67,856 participants and 34 DPD also participated,” said Sukamdani.
Yanti also said that this event was also attended by meatball artisans, especially fish balls.
“Fish is a very important component. Because now the General Chairperson (Megawati Soekarnoputri) says that culinary or food will become very important later. And the purpose and purpose of this event is to promote foods that are not only rice but also food. non -rice,” explained Wiryanti.
