Fajarasia.co – The Indonesian Parliamentary Concerned Community Forum (Formappi) highlighted the working visit of 14 members of the House of Representatives’ House Affairs Agency (BURT) to Turkey after the project to procure curtains for the members’ houses was stopped.
For Formappi, the working visit of 14 members of the DPR RI BURT to Turkey from 18-24 May 2022 is a form of waste that must be strongly criticized. “This is another form of budget wastage that must be strongly criticized, and all of the DPR Banggar should have a sense of shame,” said researcher Forappi Lucius Karius,Saturday (21/5/2022).
Moreover, said Lucius, so many working visits have been made by members of the DPR in recent times and are not open to the public.
“Almost all of the working visits were not publicly informed. So it is very likely that these visits are just a cover for pleasure,” said Lucius.
“So it’s useless to stop the curtain project if the DPR’s budget is actually used for work and work activities which seem to be just a pleasure,” added Lucius.
Lucius further questioned why the current DPR RI is not open to the public regarding working visits abroad. According to Lucius, if members of the DPR are serious about learning something abroad, why do they have to be secretive, it can be done live.
“If the DPR is serious about conducting a work tour with the aim of learning something abroad, why is the implementation of the work tour now being carried out secretly?” asked Lucius.
Based on the data, there were 23 people who left, including members of the BURT DPR RI. The names who went on working visits abroad were Achmad Dimiyati Natakusumah, Agung Budi Santoso, Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo, Novita Wijayanti, Abdul Bakri Haji Musa, Paramitha Widya Kusuma, Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, Ali Zamroni, Eva Yuliana Djatmiko, Irma Suryani , Nur Muhammad Dipo Nusantara, Lasmi Indaryani, Hamid Noor Yasin, Elly Rachmat Yasin.
Then there were also staff and secretaries who participated in the working visit to Turkey, namely Nina Herlina, Supendi, Asep Sujana, Reyhan Wijaya Guritno, Rita Amelia, Suryaningsih, Rani Siti Nuraini, Nadhio Alghifari, and Nurul Hartanti.***
