Fajarasia.id – The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast rainfall across Jakarta throughout Monday, with thunderstorms expected to hit several areas by nightfall.
According to BMKG, showers are predicted to blanket all regions of the capital from morning until late afternoon. By evening, parts of Jakarta are expected to experience heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder. Only North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are projected to see lighter rainfall.
During the early hours of Tuesday, light rain is anticipated across the city. BMKG also reported that temperatures in Jakarta on Monday will range between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds estimated at 7 to 29 kilometers per hour.
