BKN PDIP will hold the 2022 Village Festival to spark nationalism

Fajarasia.co – The PDI-P National Cultural Agency (BKN PDIP) will hold a Village Festival II to celebrate Bung Karno Month 2022 to inflame nationalism.

“This year’s village festival is an effort to inflame nationalism in developing the country, while at the same time elevating the entire cultural heritage of the archipelago, as well as building the nation’s superiority in the field of mastery of science and technology,” said Secretary General of the DPP PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto in a statement in Jakarta, Sunday.

Hasto also revealed that the organization of the activity was a mandate from the General Chair of the PDI-P Megawati Soekaroputri.

“Mrs. Mega reminded the importance of the village. The village is the garden of Indonesia, the village is the center of civilization, the village whose culinary is so extraordinary and it requires a touch of the application of science and technology to develop everything in the village. That’s why the village festival was also pioneered by the Cultural Agency is very important,” said Hasto.

This was conveyed by Hasto in the Coordination Meeting related to the Technical Implementation of the Village Festival II, at the PDIP DPP head office, Jakarta, Sunday.

Later, Hasto continued, the festival will explore the creativity of young people through the production of documentary videos about villages. In this festival, the Megawati Kawal Pancasila Cup from the Village will also be contested.

“And that is what we will do by moving downwards, uniting with the community, especially those living in villages. All PDI-P cadres in a cultural way will build hopes for a much better future,” said Hasto.

That is the PDI-P’s way of preparing for the 2024 General Election, said Hasto, continuing by moving downwards to strengthen the base.

“Not moving within an elitist framework, but moving to the main source of the PDI-P, namely the people, the people, and the people of Indonesia,” said Hasto.

Meanwhile, PDIP DPP Chair Tri Rismaharini explained that in the 2022 festival there will be three categories, namely the Village Pioneer Millennial Festival, Village People’s Thanksgiving Festival, and the Village Technology Innovation Festival.

“I’m sure this program will give a new feel because the drivers are all young people, millennial children, if the current terms are millennials and generation Z,” said Risma.

The Deputy Secretary General of PDIP Sadarestuwati also said that this second Village Festival is one of PDIP’s ways to encourage innovation and create progress that is unique to the village.

“So it can’t be the same. So because each village has its own potential. Likewise, the variety of cultures, this is each,” he said.

Furthermore, Sadarestuwati said that the PDIP DPP instructed cadres to try hard to encourage the initiation of change in the village within the Trisakti framework in each village area. The instructions are specifically for cadres who have strategic positions in government, central, to regional levels.

“According to Trisakti, the goal is to be politically sovereign, independent in the economic field, and of course have a personality in culture,” he said.

The chairman of the National Committee for the 2022 Bung Karno Month, Andreas Pareira, hopes that this Village Festival will become a tradition that needs to be continued.

“It is hoped that it can bring up the millennial figure of village pioneers, can express a form of village gratitude, and also provide an understanding that villages also have technological innovations that are useful and influential throughout the archipelago and even in the world,” said Andreas.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Central BKN PDIP Rano Karno said that the village festival in 2022 will be attended by more than a thousand villages. In fact, in DKI Jakarta, young people in sub-districts can follow it.

“So I am very sure that there will be more than 1,000 people participating in this festival,” said Rano Karno.

This coordination meeting was also attended by the Chairperson of the PDIP Central BKN Aria Bima and the PDIP Central BKN Treasurer Vita Ervina. Also attending online were PDIP DPP chairman Tri Rismaharini and PDIP politician Djarot Saiful Hidayat.****
