Bank NTT case Rp. 50 billion, investigators explore evidence

Fajarasia.co – The Special Crime Investigation Team (Tipidsus) of the East Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati NTT), is now continuing to try to resolve the alleged corruption case of purchasing a Medium Term Note (MTN) worth Rp. 50 billion from PT. SNP.

To resolve the case, now the investigators from the Tipidsus Prosecutor’s Office of NTT are intensively examining and collecting evidence related to state losses of Rp. 50 billion based on the findings of the BPK RI Representative of NTT.

“Until now the investigators of the Tipidsus of the NTT Prosecutor’s Office are still collecting evidence and exploring the evidence,” said the Head of the NTT Chief of Staff, Hutama Wisnu, S. H, M. H through the Head of Penkum and Public Relations of the NTT Attorney General, Abdul Hakim, S. H, Thursday. (26/05/2022).

Abdul explained, currently investigators for the Special Crimes (Tipidsus) of the NTT Prosecutor’s Office work professionally without any pressure from anyone in completing the case.

The Head of General Affairs and Public Relations of the NTT Prosecutor’s Office, Abdul Hakim, emphasized that the case was just one step away from being completed by the Tipidsus investigator of the NTT Prosecutor’s Office.

Abdul Hakim reiterated that at this time the investigation team of the Tipidsus Prosecutor’s Office in NTT did not remain silent in completing the case. This is evidenced by the examination of witnesses that has been completed.

“I want to say that there is only one step left, the case of alleged corruption in the purchase of MTN by Bank NTT worth Rp. 50 billion will be completed,” said Abdul Hakim.

“The NTT Prosecutor’s Office will not remain silent in the completion of the alleged corruption case which is currently being handled by the NTT High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati),” said Abdul.

He said that currently the East Nusa Tenggara Special Prosecutor’s Tipidsus investigation team is just waiting for the results of the investigation from the PPATK regarding the flow of money, of which there are seven (7) individuals remaining.

According to Abdul, in the investigation conducted by the NTT Prosecutor’s Office, the principle of prudence was very much used so that it was not acquitted by the Kupang Corruption Court (Tipikor).

“What is clear is that only seven (7) names are currently being investigated by PPATK regarding the flow of money. If there is, the case will be completed because the bribery or corruption has been fulfilled,” Abdul added.

Abdul Hakim confirmed that currently investigators from the Tipidsus Prosecutor’s Office in NTT are working optimally to resolve the case. “Investigators do not stay silent. They continue to work so they are still waiting for the results from the PPATK,” concluded Abdul. (rey)
