He explained that Juanda Airport Surabaya served the most passengers during April 2022, namely 745,799 passengers, with details of 710,475 passengers on domestic routes and 35,324 passengers on international routes.
The second highest is Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, Makassar with 725,747 passengers, and the third is I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, serving 583,814 passengers.
For aircraft movements, Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin Airport is the largest with 6,377 movements, the second Juanda Airport Surabaya with 5,850 aircraft movements, the third I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali with 4,535 movements.
Meanwhile, Sentani Jayapura Airport served the most cargo with 9,698,849 kg, the second Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar with 7,508,124 kg of cargo, and the third Juanda Airport in Surabaya with 6,755,253 kg of cargo consisting of 5,538,224 kg of domestic cargo and 1,217. 029 kg of international cargo traffic.****
